Physiotherapy care in a welcoming treatment and rehab space.
Lynnwood Ridge, Pretoria East
About Me
- Qualified Physiotherapist (BPhysio, University of Pretoria, 2019)
- Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal qualification (2024, previously OMT)
- Experience in spinal, sports, and post-surgical rehabilitation
- Dedicated to helping people get back to what they love most
My Story
Since qualifying from the University of Pretoria in 2019, I’ve worked with a wide range of people, from the weekend warriors and post-surgical patients to those navigating long-standing pain. My years alongside spinal surgeons gave me a deeper understanding of complex rehabilitation, while completing my Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal qualification (2024) strengthened my skills in guiding long-term recovery.
In my physiotherapy rooms, I focus on helping people move with ease and confidence through a mix of hands-on treatment, movement retraining, and practical education. My approach is calm, supportive, and rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to understand their body and feel in control of their progress.
Outside of my work, I’m a wife and mom, and I value finding balance between movement, family, and the important things in life. I love being active, spending time outdoors, and helping others rediscover what it feels like to move well and live fully.

How It Works
Each session starts with a thorough history and assessment to get the full picture. Treatment may include hands-on techniques, guided exercise, strapping, dry needling where helpful. You can expect to leave with a plan that’s clear, practical, and focused on your recovery.
Patients are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring any scans or reports that may help guide their treatment.
Pilates Classes
There’s a reason why Pilates is becoming more popular. It is a great way to weave movement into treatment, injury prevention and everyday life.
I offer private and duet classes in my home studio. In addition, I run group classes in the Lynnwood area designed for women in different stages of life, including pregnancy and postpartum.

Payment
Why We’re a Cash-Based Practice
At Ané Louw Physiotherapy, we are mainly a cash-based practice.
This allows us to provide transparent, personalised care and to invest more time and attention into your recovery, rather than navigating claim submissions or medical aid restrictions.
You simply pay after your session via card or EFT. We make it easy to claim back from your medical aid by providing a detailed invoice containing all the required codes – avoiding the frustration of partial payments or unexpected shortfalls.
In some cases, such as Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs) or pre-authorised rehabilitation programs we may assist directly with your medical aid to ensure you get the care you need.
Our goal is simple: clear communication, fair billing, and more time focused on your recovery.
